These tiny penguins are the smallest of their kind. Known as Little Blue Penguins—also affectionately called “fairy penguins” because of their small size—they’re quick, agile swimmers. They torpedo through schools of fish, swallowing their prey as they glide by. On land, they nest under trees, in rock crevices, caves, and cozy burrows. Small in size, but full of spirit—these little penguins are proof that nature’s creatures often comes in the tiniest packages.
